Pasta Salad

Pasta salad is a typically summer dish, enriched with some typical ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine, ideal for light and fresh meals.


280 g short pasta 
300 g cherry tomatoes
200 g of tuna in oil
200 g of mozzarella
some leaves of basil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


Cook the pasta in salted boiling water; cook it al dente. Drain and pour it into a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and let it cool down.

In the meantime, wash the cherry tomatoes, cut them into four pieces and season with some freshly grounded basil leaves, 1 tablespoon of oil, salt and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.

Cut the mozzarella in cubes and let it drip into a colander to make it lose the excess water; Drain the tuna fillets from the oil and divide them roughly.

Pour all the ingredients into the chilled pasta bowl and add some fresh basil: your pasta salad is ready to be served; Alternatively you can store it in a well-kept fridge.
