Barbera d'Asti Bricco del Prete 2006
D.O.C. % 14 18 months in oak barrels refinement
It derives from the Barbera grapes produced in the vineyard that in the past was of the priest of Agliano, in the heart of the typical producing area .
Placed in the south west, in a clayey calcareous soil, it is characterised by a low quantity but a high quality. The harvest in cases with the selection of the best grapes, the artisan vinification and one year of refinement in oak barrels and six months in bottles are elements that make this great wine unique for structure and body
With a ruby red colour, it has a cleaned bouquet, composed by wood fruits, hazelnut and chestnuts hints.
Taste: it has a pleasant structure, a good acidity and a medium length fruity final.
It goes well with flavoured dishes, roast meats and medium matured cheese
put in a decanter two hours before serving
