Description

The Ser Gervasio Merlot is one of the most noble and important of wines. Under the San Gimignano towers the Merlot grape has found the right landscape and soil conditions, perfectly apt to drawing out its characteristic traits. With Merlot we have lovingly honoured and cherished the memory of the head of the family, who, at the beginning of the twentieth century, laid the foundation of our work. Grandfather Gervasio was a frank, jovial person who truly loved music, art and all beautiful things, especially good wine. We had a portion of sun-drenched land at Pietraserena, practically under the towers and we felt this could be a perfect way of dedicating our best to Nonno Gervasio. Gained with a long and slow period of fermentation, one year in wooden casks, one more year in the bottle and here it is, just for you.
