Description

Grape variety: 100% Barbera grapes. Soil: medium consistency with sandy marl and an alkaline pH. South-east facing. Type of training: classical Guyot. Colour: intense ruby red with garnet highlights. Ample perfume with very delicate traces of vanilla, ripe fruit, raspberry and red currant scents, spicy notes in the nose. Taste: warm, sweet and harmonious with a vein of liquorice and tobacco. This wine is the product of research undertaken by the vintners association of Castellinaldo with the aim of enhancing the worth of the noble Barbera grape.
