Description
Our Grappas are obtained from the distillation, within 48 hours of the production, of the pomace of the grapes produced at Fattoria la Ripa.
The distillation occurs by means of a steam still, heated by hot water vapour, rejecting the first and last fractions of the distillate (head and tail).
our Grappa’s is soft and fruity and have all the characteristics of “Meditation Grappa”.
They should be tasted at an ambient temperature at the end of a meal as a liqueur, but, particularly young Grappa, is pleasant also slightly chilled (12ºC).

Grappa (distilled grape's marc).
Blend:
Fresh pomace of Sangiovese 70%, Canaiolo 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%.
Type of distillation:
Within 48 hours after the pressing of the grapes with discontinuous steam fed still, without any presence of lees.
Maturation and Refinement:
Oak barrels (1 year) then bottle.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Colour: bright.
Bouquet: intense, grape berry and noble wood.
Flavour: alcoholic, dry but fruity.
