Description

The dry red IGT Colli della Toscana Centrale “Le Terre di Monna Lisa” originates from selected grapes, cultivated in Fattoria La Ripa’s vineyards, owned by Monna Lisa and her descendants in the 15th and 16th Centuries, and where the wine is produced since the 1400.

The vinification is made with the highest care and with the most modern techniques, always with careful attention to the tradition. The results is an extremely pleasant wine at a very reasonable cost.

"Le Terre di Monna Lisa" is to be drunk at room temperature (approx.18°C), with red and white meat dishes, but also with Italian style Pasta, Pizza and other specialities of Italian cuisine.

 

Grape Varieties Blend :

Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo 10%.

 

Vinification:

Traditional style, with "governo".
Maturation and Refinement: Stainless steel
tanks, then bottle.

 

Organoleptic Characteristics of the wine:

Colour: Dark red.
Bouquet: Typical, delicate, vinous .
Flavour: Dry, harmonious, tannic .

 

Alcohol 12,8%, Total Acidity 5,4 g/l
