SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

II.1) DESCRIPTION II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Procurement of a fruit scheme for the Patent Office ref. no. 2009/1692.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of performance: Supplies.
Purchase.
Main place of delivery: The Patent Office's premises in Sandakerveien 64, Oslo, Norway.
II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.4) Information on framework agreement: II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): A contract is planned for a fruit scheme with delivery of 250 kg fruit per week for approx. 42 weeks, approx. 8 weeks (in the school summer holiday) with 125 kg and approx. 2 weeks with no delivery (a total of 11 500 kg per annum). This is planned to be delivered to 13 social zones over 4 floors. The Patent Office will decide the amount of fruit which shall be delivered to each zone. The fruit baskets shall be delivered in a delicious way in suitable baskets or equivalent. The baskets shall include a minimum of 5 sorts of fruit (or berries or "crunch roots"/equivalent). The Patent Office would like the fruit to reflect the current season, whether it is summer, winter, spring, etc. The fruit shall be delivered on Mondays and Wednesdays each week before 1200 noon. The supplier of the fruit scheme will be responsible for the quality of the fruit which is delivered to the Patent Office. The supplier must himself establish good routines and measures for hygiene. The Patent Office estimates that the contract's value is approx. 1 000 000 NOK over four years. The Patent Office would also like tenders for additional deliveries of fruit, this can be the delivery fruit for courses, meetings, events in the Patent Office's premises.

III.2.2) Economic and financial capacity: Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: The tenderer shall have good solidity. The solidity will be seen in relation to the assignment's risk. This shall be documented by the supplier's annual accounts for the last two accounting years. The annual accounts shall include the auditor's report.
III.2.3) Technical capacity: Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required:
Tenderers must document good quality assurance routines, i.e. minimum routines for following up deviations, handling complaints and general follow up of quality.
Experiences from previous assignments, preferably of an equivalent size are to be documented with references. List of reference persons with the name, organisation they belong to, title, telephone number and what type of assignment the supplier has carried out for the reference.
The awarding authority reserves the right to obtain references from others than the given references. Own references can be considered.
Tenderers must be able to document their own logistics and how the deliveries will be carried out.
Tenderers must be able to document stand-by routines. If something goes wrong with the tenderer's sub suppliers which affects us as a customer, what will the tenderer do so that the customer shall get the product he has paid for.
