概要

Semi-mature pecorino cheese Rosso Volterrano 60/120 days ripening in

0,5 kg, 1,5 kg and 3 kg forms

 

Ingredients: heated ewe’s milk, salt, rennet , milk enzymes

 

Description:  This cheese is ripened for at least 60 days in order to acquire the full-flavour and aroma characteristic of this kind of cheese. The forms are then treated with tomatoe

concentrate and extra virgin olive oil to slow down the natural process of mould formation thus avoiding the use of chemical products.

Its delicate flavour lingers even as the cheese matures in time.

A table cheese , excellent  as a starter, main course, heated or grilled accompanied by a

full-bodied 12°/ 13° wine.

 

Packaging: vacuum-packed

 

We advise keeping it vacuum-packed for maximum 30 days from the date of packaging.

 

To be consumed within 8 months.
