Characterized by its ruby red color, these preserves are made after a careful selection of the best prime matter. At the palate its typical sweetness is recognized which, together with a note of citric flavor, grants it a fine character. To the nose it is reminiscent of the typical southern Italian scent of sun-dried produce. Best when served with sharp, aged cheeses such as pecorino or Parmigiano Reggiano. It also gives an original touch to roasted meats, duck, and lamb.
