Gaspare Di Stefano, owner of the farm founded in 1936 by his father Giovanni, grows his own olives, managing to combine ancient family know-how with the most advanced agronomic tecniques. But, above all, his work is supported by a fervid passion for the land he inherited from his ancestors whose renowned memory is testified by "Torre Mendolia", built by his maternal forefathers near crossroad of "Via Seggio" and "Via Zangara". At the and of th 18th century, an ancestor of Gaspare, Giovanni Bonsignore, was among the first olive growers in the countryside "Seggio".
