概要

The high quality of the agricultural productions in Calabria is the result of a
combined and harmonious action of different factors, from the sweet
weather conditions to the land characteristics. Sila, Serre and Aspromonte
woods, the deep valleys, the crystal waters, a varying fauna and a rich
flora: that’s the incontaminate environment and the fertile lands where the
raw matrials we use to produce our high quality Organic Foods come from.
The olive plantations cover an area of about 160.000 ha (24% of the total
agricultural area). The cultivation areas go from the coastal plains to the
hill and low mountain areas. Such a big variety of elements makes possible
to rely on particular products, influenced from both the intrinsic
characteristics of the cultivars and the micro-climate conditions.
Our organic extra virgin olive oils Principe di Gerace and
Mediterraneò are characterized by high quality, and a full respect of the
human beings and of the environment. They come from the best selected
olive plantations, grown without use of pesticides or other chemical
additives. So that we can obtain an exclusive oil, rich of the traditional
Mediterranean taste, pure and natural, universally known as a basic
ingredient of the Italian cuisine.
Among our productions, we could also mention the flavoured extra virgin
olive oils, produced by a mixture with citrus essential oils or by the
maceration of sun dry spices in extra virgin olive oil. The taste of hot chilli
peppers, rosemary, bergamot and lemon enhance with its particular aroma
any dish, creating a savoury and rich gastronomy.
Calabria is a green paradise in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, to
admire in every season, able to arouse the taste with several scents and
different flavours. This region looks like an open-air museum, whose people
history appears in its uncontaminated and wonderful landscapes.
