I produce a special variety of organic extra virgin olive oil from pitted olives hand picked from my farm in Sicily.
The olive oil which is produced in on my farm is a high qualità product and is extremely food for one's health.
I am very proud of my product which is produced to a high standard with the utmost cove Department Stores.
Cuscinà Extra-Virgin Oil is made from immediately cold pressing olives which are harvested by hand on M. Layla Fatta's farm. Olives are harvested from the end of September to mid-October.
The olives are hand harvested and brought immediately to the oil mill, this is to keep as low as possible the acidity in the oil.
Immediately afterward, the oil is poured into large containers of inox iron with nitrogen. The oil is then bottled.
Cuscinà oil is un-filtred, fruity, grassy, bitter and pungent. It is harmonius, thick and has a wonderful persisting aroma. It is made from the "cerasuola" (85%) variety and "nocellara" (15%)
This oil is perfect for salads, barbequed food and doups. In cooked foods it brings out their flavour.
Bottles of: 0,25 liters; 0,50 liters, 0,75 liters.
Tin of 5 liters.
