Pistachio in Sicily is known as "Green Gold" because it represents a real treasure in the island kitchen. At the foot of Etna volcano the pistachio has found, thanks to the volcanic ash, a very particular habitat that gave life to a higher quality. Today, the pistachio of Bronte called "Scornabeccu," boasts the PDO and is considered absolutely the best pistachios in the world. Like all dried fruit, pistachio is also considered as a valid help against cholesterol and also reduces the risk of heart disease and atherosclerosis. No additive or preservative is used in this product.
