Description

Remondà is the name of the vineyard, and of the hill in Diano d'Alba where the Chardonnay variety has found an ideal habitat at an altitude of 510 metres. The wine is conceived in September, when the ripe grapes are gathered in from the wines for soft pressing. The wine ferments slowly in small barrels mad of oak from Allier and Vosges, where it is then left on the yeasts for several months. With the approach of summer the wine is ready for the  bottle, where its qualities evolve little-by-little until reaching perfection: a straw-yellow colour with subtle golden hues; a fragrant nose of apples and sage, with a finely spiced streak of vanilla; and an engaging taste with body, balance and a long life.
