Fiche technique
Description
Vendemmia Tardiva: This was the first Sardinian Vermentino in the world to be aged in barriques. The Vendemmia Tardiva is not a sweet wine, but a dry wine produict, made from late harvested grapes and vinified in barriques.
Color: Straw yellow with golden hues.
Nose: The intense, enfolding aromas have echoes of orange blossom, lemon peel, dried aromatic herbs, lavender and hawthorn. There are hints of wisteria, thyme and citrus blossom honey in the finish.
Palate: On the palate it is stylish and sophisticated, with pronounced but smooth body. This is a dry wine with rounded, honeyed flavours of fresh, bright citrus: firm-fleshed fruit ripened by the sun. The long finish caresses the palate with clear hints of honey and demerara sugar.
Storage: Constant temperature 14 °C, humidity 75%, controlled light, horizontal bottle
Serving: It is recommended to serve at 12°C temperature.
Food Matches: With grilled fish or fish stewed with tomato, warm vegetable starters and creamy cheese, or simply with ricotta, also sweetened with honey.
