The Dolcetto variety has always found an ideal enviroment on the best-positioned slopes on the hills of diano d'Alba, where it produces a wine with special characteristics. This Dolcetto is grown on estate vineyards located on south and west-facing hillsides over 450 m. above the sea level.
The grapes are selected with care and vinified in time honoured stule with completion of the malolactic fermentation. Maturing takes place in steel, followed by ageing in the bottle for at least three months prior to release onto the market. The wine's traditional quality are ready to be appreciated to the full: a ruby red colour with bright purply highlights; a fruity, marasca cherry nose; and a full bodied, dry taste with a nice almondy aftertaste.
