Descripción

Production: throughout Italy in the hilly areas.
Appearance: clear, slightly opalescent.
Color: clear, pale yellow.
Crystallization: absent.
Smell: Very light, low-intensity with floral aromas (robinia) and wax.
Taste: Very mild, slightly vanilla with a slight aftertaste of bitter almonds.
Properties: laxative, anti-inflammatory by the throat, liver detoxification, help for digestive diseases and against stomach acid.
Uses: as table honey and as a natural sweetener, excellent with gorgonzola, provolone and pecorino fresco. Recommended for children and diabetics.
