Descripción

A variety that has been present for many years in the Valley d'Aosta where it has adapted well.

Colour: ruby red with shades of cherry.
Nose: intense and persistant with reminders of blackberry and cherry, at times with subtle spicy notes. 
Taste: balanced, warm and soft with a pronounced tannic finish.
Accompaniments: red, white and grilled meats, cured meats and cheese.
Serving temperature: open the bottle a few hours early and serve at 18°-20°C (64°-68°F)
Notes: a wine that lends itself to 2 to 3 years ageing provided laid down in suitable conditions at a constant temperature of 10°-15°C (50°-59°F) and not exposed to light.
